The Living Influence Leadership team exists to help leaders rediscover their God-given identity and lead from their personal significance rather than strictly their capacity. Through years of executive experience, coaching, and ministry, Bill Thrall, Scott Boyd, and Waldemar Kohl have walked with leaders ready to align who they are with how they lead.
Bill Thrall
Bill is an author, mentor, public speaker, and co-founder of Trueface. He has authored several books, including The Ascent of a Leader, The Cure and High Trust Cultures. Bill co-hosts the new podcast "Living Influence". He is married to Grace, and they have three children, nine grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. They live in Phoenix, AZ.
Scott Boyd
Scott founded QuesTec Companies, a mechanical contracting and HVAC service business. Together with Bill Thrall, Scott co-hosts the podcast “Living Influence”.  He has three sons, all of whom have been involved in the business. Scott lost his first wife of 38 years to cancer. He is currently married to Aileen, who also lost her first husband to cancer. They live in Columbia, MO.
Waldemar Kohl
Waldemar is an executive coach, founder of Kohl Consulting, and principal consultant at Patrick Lencioni’s Table Group. Previously, he was an executive at USAA and Fidelity, where he was awarded two U.S. Patents for succession planning . Waldemar is married to Ann, and they have five adult children. They live in Hampton, NH.

Most recently, Bill helped launch the Living Influence podcast.
Bill and his wife, Grace, live in Phoenix, Arizona. They have three children, nine grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

Scott is the founder of QuesTec Companies, which he started in 1997, and has successfully transitioned to his sons and other leaders over the last five years. Under his leadership, and now his sons, QuesTec Companies achieved sustained growth of greater than 15% per year for 24 consecutive years—and has actually accelerated growth rates since succession. QuesTec Companies now have offices in 7 cities with over 350 employees and 150 million in revenue. This growth has been accomplished with no private equity or venture capital.
Having lived these concepts for over two decades, he brings both the practical wisdom of a successful entrepreneur and the heart of a servant leader, believing that trust is the essential ingredient of QuesTec's success. Scott knows what it takes to creates lasting legacies that continue to thrive and grow even after the founder steps away. These lessons have led Scott, most recently, to launch the Living Influence podcast with Bill Thrall.
Scott lives in Columbia Missouri with his wife Aileen; they have 5 children and 7 grandkids. Both Scott and Aileen lost their long-time spouses to cancer and have been married to each other for five years.

His focus is on helping create healthy and successful organizations, by developing cohesive, aligned, and high-performing leadership teams. Waldemar is founder of Kohl Consulting, and principal consultant at Patrick Lencioni’s Table Group. His clients range from Fortune 100 to start-ups and non-profits, and span a range of industries, including technology and software, healthcare, media, financial services, education and manufacturing.
Prior to joining The Table Group, Waldemar was Vice President of Practice Management & Consulting at Fidelity Investments. Before Fidelity he served as Executive Director at USAA. Waldemar received his BSBA from Georgetown University and an MBA from the University of Texas in San Antonio. He obtained the CFP® designation in 2004, and the ChFC® certification in 2011. Waldemar was awarded two U.S. Patents for succession planning for advisors.
Waldemar and his wife, Ann, live in Hampton, New Hampshire. They have five adult children.
